How can I access the demo version?

To gain access, fill out the form located under the “Request DEMO” button in the top bar of the page. After the presentation, our consultant will give you access to the system, providing you with a login and password for the demo version. Access to the demo version of the system covers 21 days and is completely free of charge.

Can the SkillBox Competency Matrix be integrated with an HR and payroll system?

SkillBox Competency Matrix can work independently, however, we recommend linking it with your HR and payroll system. We integrate with commonly used systems such as Optima, Enova, Symfonia, TETA, SAP, Asseco. If you have another system, contact us and we will certainly find a solution. The connection provides automatic updating of the employee database (newly hired and dismissed), assignment to the correct organizational structure, information about the validity of employee contracts, expiration dates of authorizations and employee training.

Does SkillBox Matrix have import functions from existing excel files?

Yes. During implementation, we repeatedly find that analogous matrices developed in spreadsheets are in operation in the company. We also recommend that calibration – i.e., unification of naming and dictionaries across the company – be carried out before importing them. Data import can be carried out using exchange files in csv, text or any format prepared by the client.

What if the company has no defined competencies?

Our consulting team helps develop skills and competencies and any necessary vocabularies during workshops and moderated sessions.

How many people can use the SkillBox matrix at one time?

According to the number of licenses purchased. The system is multi-user. Each user is given their own privileges to both employees and specific functionalities in the system.

What are the rules for licensing and granting SkillBox Competency Matrix privileges?

SkillBox Competency Matrix license is sold for the number of employees it supports. Each of them has access to the system, according to the level of authorization, e.g. administrator/management – to all employees, manager – to the data of the subordinate team, employee – to his own data. If the company grows and the number of employees increases, an additional license package for new users can be purchased at any time.

In the SkillBox Matrix, is it possible to assess administrative-type skills as well as soft skills, not just production-type skills?

Yes. Depending on the Client’s needs and the scope of implementation, it is possible to divide the matrices into specific groups, such as production, non-production and company-wide competencies. In addition, the SkillBox Competency Matrix can be expanded to include a Periodic Assessment System module, where it is possible to introduce developmental competencies and a behavioral scale (defined by a behavioral scale), such as communication or team cooperation.

Can I add or change the names of competencies? If so, can I do it myself?

Yes, there are no limitations. The tool is designed to grow with the company. Those with the appropriate authorization can add new or archive old competencies/skills.

Can the rating scale be changed?

Yes. Each time it is implemented, it is worked out and adapted to the company’s requirements. The administrator on the client side, has the authority to change the rating scale, should the need arise.

Are SkillBox retaining competency ratings for employees who have terminated their partnership and returned to the company again?

Yes, SkillBox maintains a complete history with information on who, when and in what area the assessment was made.

In addition to the indicated reports in the demo version, can there be additional ones? If so, how many?

Yes, the reports module allows you to define reports according to the Company’s needs. Each time, in addition to the standard ones, they are defined during implementation for the needs of the company. You can also use the report generator, which is available in the system.

How do employees access the SkillBox system?

In SkillBox, is it possible to issue a request for secondment of an employee to another department?

Yes, electronic circulation of the request for secondment and assignment to a specific department. SkillBox Competency Matrix’s know-how is the ability to use the same competency from the dictionary in several places in the organizational structure, thanks to which we receive information about the possibility of redeployment or secondment of an employee to another area, as he has the appropriate skills. During the secondment, the temporary supervisor, too, can evaluate the acquired new skills or powers.

On whose server is SkillBox installed: the provider's or the client's?

Both options are possible.

Which browsers does SkillBox work with?

SkillBox works with most available browsers. At a minimum, we recommend: Microsoft Internet Explorer10, Firefox15, Google Chrome11.

Will we be trained by the SkillBox Matrix Provider?

Yes, we provide training on how to use the tool. Also, after the implementation period, we provide user support as a maintenant (maintenance) service.

How much does the SkillBox Competency Matrix cost?

Pricing depends on the selected SkillBox functionality and number of users. Feel free to contact us.

What if there are any malfunctions in the operation of SkillBox?

We provide application maintenance and support through the HelpDesk ticket system.

Is the stored data secure and compliant with the requirements of the RODO?

We guarantee the highest level of security. We recommend installing the solution on your servers. Data can also be stored with a trusted provider. The system also meets all obligations under RODO.
